"Forget Me Knots"

We shouldn't resent the tangled, difficult times in our lives, those are the moments that shape who we are. Each knot is proof of a lived life, a storm weathered, and a period of growth.

The torso on this piece is from a salvaged piece of furniture that belonged to my grandmother. By giving this weathered artifact a new purpose, the work becomes a collaboration between past and present.
