"Fragmented Focus"

Fragmented Focus," is a  visual meditation on the struggle to maintain focus, coherence, and equanimity when the mind feels beautifully, painfully fragmented. 

The ornate wood this piece is mounted on is sourced from an architectural salvage site, it carries the unique narrative of its original, forgotten building. It is marked with a handwritten number that identifies it's historical importance and location. By giving this weathered artifact a new purpose, the work becomes a collaboration between past and present.
